Service Description

Booking fee of $50 required to secure your date (subtracted from final invoice). Pick up of BPI certified compostable materials/food scraps and/or recycling from your event. Events not within a 20 mile radius of our business address will be charged an additional $1.50 per round trip mile for pick up. We service events only; we do not offer regular commercial or residential route pick-ups. Please note the following: * This service does not include bin rental, compostable disposables, or bags. * Food scraps and compostable foodware MUST be in compostable bags. * Recyclables MUST be in clear or transparent blue bags. * Materials must not be heavily contaminated; pick-up does NOT include waste sorting and removal of contaminants. * Cardboard does not have to be bagged but must be flattened and stacked. * All items must be ready for pick up in an agreed upon designated place at a designated time. Our staff are not able to search the grounds of your event or location to collect materials from various places. * A final invoice will be sent after pick up. * If your event concludes after our last pick up time of midnight, such as a wedding reception, contact us at info@pinkelephantevents.org before scheduling your pick up time. If you are able to secure your materials for pick up until the following morning, you can also schedule your pick up at that time. * We are not able to remove materials from dumpsters.
